Had a great time at the Ivors yesterday, where the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors presented me with an award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music. Felt very much at home among the many songwriters in the room, especially when Dave won the Best Contemporary Song award for his politically charged ‘Question Time’.
