Ivor Novello Outstanding Contribution To Music award for Mr Billy Bragg. Huge congratulations. Let makes his celebratory two night stay in Wakefield worth it! I’m sure he might asked about this at our in conversation event tonight… Can’t wait.

Billy Bragg on Ed Sheeran: “He’s basically doing what I do, with a few more foot pedals” – NME

Had a great time at the Ivors yesterday, where the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors presented me with an award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music. Felt very much at home among the many songwriters in the room, especially when Dave won the Best Contemporary Song award for his politically charged ‘Question Time’.
