Help the planet and get one of the hottest tickets of the year by signing up to become a Green Messenger at this year’s Download Festival.
The countdown is well and truly on to #DL2017, if you haven’t got your ticket yet… we’ll let you in on a secret. By signing up as a Green Messenger you’ll be able to keep the place green and clean, as well as earning yourself free entry to the festival.
By volunteering as a Green Messenger for four 6-hour shifts, you’ll gain free access to the festival and play an integral role in making Download a cleaner site. Once your shift is over, you’ll be free to explore Donington Park and let your hair down to some of our stellar line up.
Some of the Green Messenger duties include:
Handing out recycling bags to festival goers on arrival.
Advising people on the festival’s recycling initiatives.
Helping people choose the correct bin to place their recycling in.
Encouraging people to separate their waste responsibly.
Staffing tent donation points and working in the sorting area.
Salvaging re-usable gear.
