The good news just keeps coming… thanks to support from Arts Council England we are very pleased to unveil our brand new project for 2019: "Onto The Streets".
Alongside direct commissions, we are opening up a Seed Fund for all Wakefield based artists of all mediums. Up to £500 is available to create a brand new piece of work that will be debuted at the festival; we're very keen to make the works as public and visible as possible and really bring the city to life over the five days of the festival.
Take a look at the link for more details and a link to the application form. In 2018 we funded 13 pieces of work, including Theatre, Music, Poetry, Contemporary Dance, Soundscapes, Photography, Illustration and more, so there really is no limit!
