It's hard not to get caught up in all the Black Friday sales stuff isn't it?
With this, and any purchasing, we have ethical choices to make: Amazon Vs High street, Big Brands Vs Bespoke.
It's the same with festivals. You wont see us pushing big 'sales' or 'discounts' because we're already massively good value. We couldn't exist without funding, which means your £30 ticket gets you well over £100 in 'content.'
But also, that money is going direct to artists, local businesses and people working for the grassroots – places where it matters.
As is the case with TVs or Clothes, the majority of people only care about the final product in their hands, which in our case is those big artists. That's the only driver for where their money goes.
We make huge efforts to punch above our weight in that regard, but supporting Long Division and other great small festivals is about much more and it's not possible without you.
