A reminder that next Wednesday 24th November we have a couple of events happening as part of Artwalk Wakefield.
We have our LD Young Songwriters Showcase down at Jolly Tap – come along and see the newest musical talent Wakefield has to offer. After 5 weeks working with professional mentors Sunflower Thieves, writing new songs and sharing ideas, the young people on our brand new songwriting course will be sharing their new material. Music at 18:00/ 18:30/ 19:00/ 19:30/ 20:00/ 20:30 💛
Also launching that evening as part of Artwalk is Long Division’s new ‘Waiting Game’ zine made in collaboration with Emily Ryalls, with an accompanying exhibition on the walls of Merrie Studios in The Ridings Shopping Centre where there will also be a pop-up LD merch shop! ⚡️
The best part: you’ll easily be able to attend both on the same night!
