Following her mesmerizing performance at last month’s Junction 2 Inner City event, Bristol based DJ, illustrator and all round creative Danielle takes the reins of mix number 21 in the Junction 2 series.

Drawing inspiration from her dad’s expansive record collection meant Danielle caught the music bug and bagan crate digging early on, eventually becoming a self-taught DJ. Landing a job at the famed Phonica records, where she worked for 10 years, Danielle further advanced and refined her knowledge of the ever-growing and far reaching realm of electronic music, allowing her to forge a well informed and enviable track selection behind the decks. Additionally, Danielle has also been a resident on NTS Radio since 2017. Alongside this, she regularly mentors at the popular Bristol-based DJ workshop Mix Nights, giving her the chance to impart her invaluable knowledge to the next generation.

Nominated for best breakthrough DJ in 2020 by DJ Mag, Danielle has played on some of the biggest festival stages including Glastonbury, Dimensions, Kala and Love Saves The Day, as well as clubs like DC10, fabric, Oval Space, Pickle Factory and Ohm. Her far-reaching understanding of music, and commitment to diverse sounds, is reflected in this all-encompassing mix, in which breakbeat, electro, jungle and everything in between are stitched eloquently together.
