To answer all those who have messaged, commented or posted asking us if we could keep the tent up and show the football tonight, we tried.

It was in the back of our minds that we could do something if we got through to the semis: Put on a ticketed event with the beer and the big screen and make a night of it for football fans in Hastings.

The stage, sound, screen, bars, beers, stock, staff and the desire was there…. but the tent was not. Sadly, it has to be in Scotland tomorrow so it meant nothing could happen: To get the tent out, meant taking everything out and it was too expensive to reassemble it elsewhere.

It’s a shame but we did try!

Wherever you watch the match, enjoy it and regardless of the outcome, let’s not see repeats of the vandalism shown on TV the other day.
