No Glastonbury? No Problem! Guilfest 2026 is Here to Save Your Summer
With Glastonbury taking a well-earned rest this year, the pressure is on for the UK’s festival scene to deliver the goods. Stepping up to the plate with an absolutely massive lineup is Guilfest! Returning for its triumphant 26th year, the ultimate family festival is back at Stoke Park, Guildford, to bring party revellers a weekend of unforgettable music, comedy, and family fun.
Proudly standing as one of the country’s last remaining independent festivals, Guilfest continues to thrive. Founded in 1992 by Tony Scott, it has grown from a local marquee setup into a heavyweight on the UK festival calendar. With tickets already flying out the door after last year’s sell-out success, here is why you need to secure your spot for the 4th and 5th of July.
🎸 The Lineup: Seven Stages of Spectacular Entertainment
This year’s musical offerings are bigger and better than ever, spanning genres and decades to guarantee there is something for absolutely everyone.
Saturday, 4th July: Kitchen Discos & Dance Anthems
Saturday night is all about bringing the energy. The main stage will be headlined by the Queen of the Kitchen Disco herself, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, guaranteed to bring the ultimate party vibes. Before she takes the stage, expect a high-octane DJ set from Rudimental to get the crowd jumping.
Also catching our eye on Saturday: Lottery Winners, ABC, Inspiral Carpets, Tiffany, Roza LA, Echobelly, and Phats & Small.
Sunday, 5th July: Singalongs & Festival Legends
Sunday shifts gears into an incredible day of nostalgia and massive singalong anthems, headlined by Scottish legends The Proclaimers.
The packed Sunday roster includes: Kula Shaker, Kid Creole & the Coconuts, Haircut 100, Heather Small, T’Pau, The Bootleg Beatles, Bez, The Specials (Neville Staple), Hugh Cornwell, Voodoo Radio, The South, The Ogre Tones, Letz Zep, The Dolly Show, The Smyths, and The Royal Surrey Choir.
🎪 Beyond the Music: Fun for the Whole Family
Guilfest isn’t just about the main stage; it’s a fully immersive weekend packed with activities for all ages.
The Literary Tent: Stepping up a gear this year, catch exclusive, insightful interviews with Blur’s Dave Rowntree alongside chats with several of the main stage acts.
For the Kids: Little ones will be thrilled by special appearances from Chase from Paw Patrol. Plus, there’s a dedicated Kids Area, Bug Farm, Games Tent, and Bushcraft sessions to keep them entertained all weekend.
Comedy & Arts: Get your laughs at The Jokers! Comedy Tent, browse the Art & Craft Village, or take part in brilliant singing, dancing, and drumming workshops.
Eat, Drink & Dance: Keep the party going in the Dance Tent, catch some impromptu Street Theatre, and unwind at the Shanti Sessions. When hunger strikes, explore the Delicious World Cuisine and wash it down at the Rustic Beer & Real Ale Bar or the dedicated Cocktail Bar.
