A look back at our shenanigans in 2022 where we achieved things we only thought we could dream about thanks to you lot. Including the following:
– We played 128 gigs, travelling over 20,000 miles covering 8 different countries
– We supported the amazing Ferocious Dog
– We played some of our bucket list festivals including Glastonbury Festivals Boomtown Fair Bearded Theory and Lindisfarne Festival
– We did our first European tour
– We won Jimmy our golden gnome award at Festival-Mediaval
– We headlined our first tour of England with Firejam – Events & Bookings with our Firejam family
– We released 4 singles and music videos with Firejam Productions – working with Mother’s Ruin 1751 for their launch of Sea Maiden Rum and Fishermen’s Mission with Band of Brothers
– We raised over £1000 (and counting) for charities : Marbles Lost and Found and Fishermens Mission
– We’ve reached over 150K combined song streams on Spotify
– Have been played / interviewed on over 10 different radios
– reached nearly 9K followers on Facebook and over 1.5K shipmates on the JollyRoger – Community, Crew & Shipmates group.
We did this by working hard, keeping focused, having faith and belief and showing love and kindness to each other, despite the trying times, line up changes and other barriers us musicians face.
None of this could have been done without your support and the help of those people that booked us, let us stay with them, fed us, bought our merch, streamed our music and everyone that follows, comments and sends us encouraging messages.
We look forward to what 2023 brings, best start putting some intentions and wishes out there!
