FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS: 2019 Roseville Jazz Festival Highlights

The Roseville Jazz Festival brought world-class jazz to downtown Roseville, CA on May 25-26, 2019. Because the 2020 festival was cancelled due to COVID-19, we are presenting highlights from those two special days.

Video clips feature The Stan Kenton Legacy Orchestra directed by Mike Vax; legendary vocal group, The Four Freshmen; pianist Tamir Hendelman with drummer Lewis Nash; saxophonist Cleave Guyton Jr. from The Lionel Hampton Orchestra; guitarist Will Matthews from The Count Basie Orchestra; vocalist Rebecca Hardiman from Portland, OR area; The Sacramento Jazz Legends led by Tom Peron; bassist Paul Keller and vocalist Sarah D’Angelo (both from Michigan); and The USAF Commanders Jazz Ensemble from Travis AFB (USAF Band of the Golden West). Also in this video: Lucas Bere Quartet, Vivian Lee with Brenden Lowe Quartet, Joe Mazzaferro Quintet, Delbert Bump Trio, Tim Metz Trio, Jazz Gitan, Sacramento Classic Jazz Messengers, Byron Colborn Quartet, Motoshi Kosako, and The Young Jazz Lions of Sacramento.

In August, we will highlight the 2018 Roseville Jazz Fest, featuring The Sacramento Jazz Orchestra’s full set.
