There was a Lightening storm so the tent got evacuated. But we went back early and got front row for Scroobius Pip vs Dan le sac when it resumed. 2013
A guy walking around the campsite with a big blow-up pillow, I tried to burst it by jumping on it (Hold my beer), I went 10 foot in the air and landed on my elbow and broke it, didn’t go to first aid tent until after Primal scream, I’m double-jointed in my elbows, when the nurse looked at it she says it broke alright, I say naaa it always looks like that, she was right.
Y NOT 2012 met a beautiful Finnish girl, 7 years later we are married, with 2 beautiful girls and living the dream!
Emlyn Parry Back in 2015, during Basement Jazz’s set, Grace (8) lost her tooth! She was hysterical until she found a £1 coin on the ground from the ‘tooth fairy’ and then rocked the rest of the evening! 🤘🦷 🧚♀️
Unfortunately I wouldn’t count on receiving the prize..I’m still awaiting my cassia vinyl from the competition before the festival?!!..still had a fab time there, amazing 😁

Not being able to leave till mid day when it got cancelled in 2017 because our parents had 4 hours to drive to come get us, to go from zero camping chairs and any drink to 7 camp chairs, a gazebo, crate of red bull, two kegs of dark fruits and loads of tinnies donated to us while we waited by people making their way home, take note we were a group of 7 underage teenagers, and our parents then ended up picking us up drunk
Being in an aggressive situation with someone twice my size and not one staff member being around to defuse the situation, and if they couldn’t hear that then I wonder what else could have happened without them knowing. Put me off festivals for life especially when there are so many people with similar situations that ended so much worse than mine👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

2016, when my sister-in-law got married at ynot 💗
It rained a lot on the Saturday so we left the festival for the afternoon, drove to my 90 year old grandad’s and took him out for a surprise lunch 🙂
So basically someone I know let’s call him Lucas to keep it anonymous he took acid and thought he was covered in spiders and got dragged into the abyss by a demon it was excellent.

2017 and our glamping pod being ransacked whilst we were asleep
Unfortunately the guy tripped over my pants and I sprung off the camp bed and swiped him with the battery operated table lamp
Sent him flying out of the pod without my wallet & phone and hopefully with a nasty cut to his head!
Even got my pants back next day too!
Met my fiance at Y Not 2012. Had our 1st kiss whilst Wombats were on on the Saturday night. Dated for a while then after months apart met up again at Y Not the year after and got back together. Went to 3 more consecutive Y Nots, the last one being 2016 whilst I was pregnant with our first child. Walked the public path next to the festival site with our baby the year after to take a peek at the festival. Gave birth to our second child four months ago and we are due to marry next year. Can safely say our son and daughter would not be here without Y Not festival! 💙❤ Thank you!😘

Went on me loner put our tipi up next to family loos (only place left) three trips back to car with beers, beds n fodder forgot the hammer for tent pegs so kicked them in with me welly’s 😆 daughter arrived just as I’d cracked my first strongbow n said ‘Is that all you’ve been doing all day?

2020, year 4 and still going strong…..you supply the linnin (the glamping tent,) we,ll decorate it with flowers and provide you with all the glamour, the vibes, the imagery and a true Y NOT love story.

Went to Y Not Festival with a group of pals, one of which was the girl I’ve been in love with for the last 3 years – Emily Alexander.
We had an amazing weekend; on the Friday night we had a really deep conversation and following an emotional evening at Elbow and an amazing, boogie-filled weekend we decided to get together.
She’s now my girlfriend and we’ve never been happier!

2017 the rain and mud, went with my daughter, Friday night about 8 o’clock we went back to the tent to eat, dry off Nd warm up. Didn’t feel like getting up again after that. Listened to music, rain and drunks for a few hours. About 3 a.m. I heard two girls putting up a tent right next to ours, it was still raining. For about 30 seconds I thought about helping them. Then decided not to. Sorry. Still we chatted in the morning and they were pleased to be next to us and not in the rock ‘n roll camping, which was both scummy and had a stream of mud running thru it.
Went to Ynot, Kate Nash was on again. Went home
