Y not – my husband is a drummer & has one of your artist wristbands. We have turned up tonight, spent over an hour queuing at various gates to get our wristbands & parking pass from 3 different places, to then be told we have to camp separately – him in artist area & our daughter & myself in VIP (as we are “only” guestlist). I’m a 45 year old teetotal woman, our daughter is 11, we aren’t going to be running amok backstage. Oh, & just to add insult to injury, the guitarist & his “guest list” guest have managed to camp in artists area no bother, so can you explain how your rules actually work?! & BTW, Amy who is apparently managing your red production area gate is downright rude, reduced my 11 year old to tears & should be sacked, this is our 5th Y Not, including last year’s disaster & she is the worst staff member we’ve met in that time. I await your response.
Are we allowed to sleep in our cars tonight? Our tent has collapsed and got nowhere else to sleep. We bought another tent and that’s collapsed too! Please advise if this is ok anyone?

To all of those moaning (most have which haven’t even been to the festival this year) just remember Behind this festival is a group of people who work their arses off to try to the best of there ability to make a fabulously fun weekend for people,the majority of which are local.. thank god for some fun coming into our local area.. local businesses are helped by this festival and local folk get to enjoy music and fun on our doorstep .. this year no disruption to traffic has occurred what so ever you & you can see by the laughter and smiles on everyone’s faces the fun being had.. yes there’s going to be some scum bags who feel the need to steal from our kids but please don’t tar everyone with the same brush and remember how much hard work goes into these festivals by normal everyday working folk!
