Wood Festival 2017

The 2017 edition of our festival of music and nature – they’re calling it the Year of the Hedgehog – takes place on the 19th–21st May in the beautiful Chiltern hills at Braziers Park, near Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

Now in its 9th year.  Wood is one of the UK’s most intimate family festivals, winning awards from everyone from Festival Kidz to The Oldie.  At the 2016 UK Festival Awards, Wood was once again Highly Commended by A Greener Festival.

Here is the first crop of line-up announcements for you!

THE MAGIC NUMBERS, CC SMUGGLERS, BLUE ROSE CODE, FLATS AND SHARPS, BRENT COBB, NICK COPE, WORRY DOLLS, JACKIE OATES & MEGAN HENWOOD, JASON MCNIFF, THE EPSTEIN, CO-PILGRIM

That’s just for starters- there’s a whole lot more music to be announced very soon.
The festival will also be stocked with a full programme of great music, free workshops for all ages, kids tent activities, talks and discussions, and delicious locally-sourced food and drink, including plenty of hedgehog-related stuff… more on those soon as well.

Super early and early bird tickets have already sold out in record time and they’re down to our last few Adult Weekend tickets too, at just £85 for the weekend.  When these are gone there will be a final batch priced £89 – unless you are helping to reduce our carbon footprint and travelling to Wood by bicycle or bus to Wood, in which case they are still £85.
Teens (13-17) are only £20, children aged 12 are still free, accompanied by a paying adult.
We will be doing a small number of day tickets for Sunday, but not for Friday or Saturday.

Tickets and further information are available from www.woodfestival.com and Eventbrite.
