Definitely good for first timers. I think you covered it really well. I’d say for people going camping, be careful leaving behind valuables in the tent when you leave, unfortunately there is theft in the camping area. If you’re going to leave your camp unattended, you’d be better securing valuables in your car. Look up a comprehensive list of things to take camping/festivals, the survival guide provides some essentials, but you want to be sure, especially if you can’t drive your car out and in during certain hours (and if it’s rural, it’s a far drive).
Hydration to me KEY. Maybe for every drink, have a bottle of water, something like that. Most of these festivals are set outdoor in the summer, with limited shade, and dehydration is a real problem.
I was skeptical heading into reading this but it was good and you covered all the bases, besides the theft, definitely gotta beware of theft, and ideally, have a drug testing kit to make sure your shits legit if you choose to partake.
