I don’t see them returning for 2021 or 22.
Everyone should charge back their credit cards and file complaints with the BBB, FTC, Florida board of commerce (or whatever equivalent governing board Florida has), Florida tourism board, and maybe even some bodies through the city of Miami.
This may sound dumb af, but leaving a paper trail makes them look bad in the eyes of the credit card merchants, banks, and municipalities for permit acquisition. So one might be able to squeeze a refund out of them. Also if anyone rich enough sues them over this, (class action), you may be able to squeeze in as a plaintiff

There is not gonna be a next year for Ultra.
In the Netherlands they gave buyers of the first cancelled festival 3 options:
1. Go to another festival later this year by the same organizer
2. Go to the same festival next year
3. Get a full refund including service costs
Think this is how it should be.

Lol as someone close to people in ultra and knowing what’s going over there makes this even funnier. Awful company who cuts corners at every turn.

This is why I told my gf not to buy any tickets this year even for concerts.
I’m not worried about the virus but the masses are. And whenever masses of people freak out its never good.
I’m glad they’re shutting this shit down. Some festivals only draw domestic crowds but the bigger ones people come from other countries. I’d feel better knowing everyone is safe at home and not spreading the infection.
This is a dick move though. They obviously don’t have the money to pay everyone back the ticket price so I guess they spent it already.
Why would anyone want to go to Ultra anyways?
If they can keep the money when the Shit goes bad, they should give attendees profit sharing when the Shit is live!!
It’s just not good customer service…they sent out this long drawn out email. They should have kept it real simple. “Hey people, Ultra is cancelled, full refunds! See you next year.” Forcing people to go to another festival the following year? GTFO…
