As a consumer you should not pay money for this festival, and try your best to never give any money to UAE.
That being said, there are ways to look at this from an artists perspectives. Are you doing more by boycotting the UAE? Or are you helping the country become more accepting of the community your scene represents by playing there? The UAE is racist and homophobic and awful, we all know that. But does boycotting playing in UAE (therefore preventing any outside influence affecting the UAE public) actually help anyone?
