  1. Big respect for the strfkr, planning to listen to this this week. My homie you should check out Glass Animals if you haven’t

Youd probably like psychedelic porn crumpets, WOOZE, Acid Dad, Post Animal, Mild High Club, Temples, Warmduschers, The Olivia Tremor Control, and !!! to name a few

This is an amazing playlist and I’ve got one very similar to it. Love this sound.

Check out BALTHVS, Arc De Soleil, Five and Tens, Allah-Las, and Ikebe Shakedown.

Also – love seeing Orions Belte on here they’re incredible. Check out the song “Atlantic Surfing” by them if you haven’t heard it yet. It’s a mind melter for sure.

I like EDM, but I really cannot handle a festival with just that. I used to, I just… lost my infatuation with it.

It’s hard, because you can easily say festivals should just have more bands, but instrumental music is very opinionated. You have to choose between country, roots, jazz, blues, folk, bluegrass, rock, reggae, etc. — and that makes the crowd and mood very different. I can definitely see why EDM became the great unifier to have a diverse, partying crowd, but I do have to say I love my specific shows / festivals with instrumental music more, especially with psychedelics.

Man Air is such a great important act from early 2000’s. So many great downtempo and artsy acts off Astralwerks around that time! They were a big deal. I remember seeing them play live at Coachella 2006 or so. Blew my mind.

  6. I’ll recommend adding Animal Collective to that list. Strawberry Jam and Merriweather Post Pavilion are my two fav albums. And one of their members Panda Bear puts out his own awesome music too. They have some super trippy music videos you should check out

Have some fun with Black Moth Super Rainbow if you want to dive straight down to the deep end.
