It’s pretty obvious that Humans just want a safe place to do drugs, listen to music, and experience different forms of art.
Stoked for the day where I can be obviously high on psychedelics at a Botanical Garden and not feel weird about staring at an orchid for 15 minutes.
in a world where we are increasingly disconnected from eachother (and ourselves) it is not surprising that connecting with fellow humans (and oneself) is more popular then ever. music festivals are a great place to do that
Lmao. It has GA for electric forest at $175. Try $360-$400.
Music is the most important and powerful thing humans have ever made.
“When you’re around beautiful soundscapes, lovely natural environments, and other people equally as high on life, you feel filled up. ”
Yes, so many people at festivals are high on…LIFE! But drugs are better.
For once, we’re not killing something!
It’s an efficient way to see hella shows
Make me King and I’ll use tax money to subsidise music festivals 😉
It seems I have chosen a good career path
Itll fractal out and blossom in a beautiful way. Just cuz the “norm” internet is facebook, insta, tumblr, and amazon, doesnt mean thats still your style.

Well that sucks. more and more corporate festivals will become the norm
Humans are supposed to have music and art festivals that are open to the public for community. Just look at any tribe. We’ve fucked our selves by putting a price tag on culture. Its no wonder suicide rate is so high.
I prefer bands tour in intimate venues, or headline their own shows, rather than play 20 – 30 minute sets that they weren’t able to soundcheck.
With most summer festivals clocking in at an average of $350-400 for general admission, plus other expenses, I feel like id rather save that money and use it for a much bigger expense like vacation or a brand new gadget. I prefer going to those free festivals in the park regardless who’s playing. Besides the ones in the US are a total shitshow with asshole security and overpriced drinks and food. In addition to that, Livenation wants to install facial recognition software in their venues. This just makes me cherish the metal & rock festivals in the past. Nowawadays even the headliners suck and they don’t even appeal to me. I mean what’s the point of paying 400 bucks just to see a mumble rapper or a guy on a laptop tuning knobs. I guess I’m just getting too old for this shit.
