Haha this night is brutal for me too. I’m pretty much interested in all the same ones you circled as well as Dirt Monkey. If you haven’t heard, they moved Whipped Cream to 3:00am, and it’s not clear when Liquid Stranger is going to be playing at the moment.
That was the best part of All Good: only one act at a time. You could see every performance if you wanted. And if there was a set you didn’t particularly want to see, it was a good time to hit the portajohns and then the bar, or maybe head back to camp to regroup.
Dude when this came out my entire squad collectively died. Gonna be a solo night for all of us trying to chase our favorites… but yeah that dirt monkey / space Jesus time conflict is the worst. This whole Friday is the worst lol but also the best
I would do tsurda/the librarian, diamond saints/barclay crenshaw/claptone??? fuck. then justin martin. liquid stranger v claude is a toss up depending on your vibe at the moment. maybe sneak in a bit of truth and end up at christian martin.
not that you asked, but that’s what I would narrow it down to. diamond saints and barclay crenshaw both put on amazing shows. I really couldn’t pick one over the other. I’ve never seen claptone before so I’d probably prioritize that, personally.
It also annoys me they don’t have set end times! Are you supposed to assume its b2b2b2b2b2b?
Shambhala always has a bunch of conflicts. I know it’s unavoidable with 6 stages, but they should consider spreading some of that heat into the earlier parts of the day

This is why I prefer single stage festivals – not as huge crowds + you see all the music for best or worst.
