It’s interesting that one of the only festivals to be solely headed by females did not sell well, yet the constant complaint I’ve heard this festival season is that there aren’t enough female headliners.
as an LA native and frequent festival goer (though only been to FYF back at LA historic park when DFA1979 played), I didn’t even see the lineup announcement or anybody talking about it on social.
Took a look at the lineup after seeing this announcement and wasn’t impressed with any of it. Bummer for those that were super stoked for this

The lineup just wasn’t really that good. Last year and 2016 were absolutely stacked
as an LA native and frequent festival goer (though only been to FYF back at LA historic park when DFA1979 played), I didn’t even see the lineup announcement or anybody talking about it on social.

PSA: This has nothing to do with female musicians. It would be incredibly helpful to not start that narrative.
