One hack that has helped me a ton is finding out how to sleep comfortably with over-ear noise cancelling headphones. U shaped travel pillows have the perfect shape to let the ear cups of your headphones rest in, while supporting your head and not putting pressure on your ears. Many times I’ve woken up totally refreshed with my headphones still on while my camp-mates barely slept at all. What are your festival hacks?

Just get exhausted, take a melatonin and some foam earplugs.. I also sleep with a fan, so I have a little fan next to my head.

For summertime camping festivals a cool tent can be a game changer. Not being woken up at 8:00 AM because the tent is 110 degrees helps me as an old man last multi-day festivals better. I have had the best luck at keeping my tent cool by doing the following: leave the rainfly off the tent, put the tent under an ez-up, put tapestries around all 4 sides of the ez-up (for privacy). The breeze passes right through the tapestries into the shaded tent; the tent stays cool for hours longer. If there is a lot of wind I stake my tapestries down so they don’t get blown up by the wind exposing the tent.

Swimmer silicone ear plugs for sleeping are a game changer the way they morph to your ears is a game changer

  4. Plastic vegetable grocery bags. Over socks, but under shoes. If it gets muddy/your shoes get wet, your feet stay dry. Baby wipes for general grime wipe off. And as another poster said, those silicone ear plugs.

I just get really tired and pass out for 2-4 hours. Then I just so happen to be tired enough to get 2-4 hours more the next night!

I actually found a bluetooth earbud headband on Amazon that I just connect to my phone and play white noise with. Worked really well and stays on. Couldn’t hear shit around me. Only issue was the battery would die at some point in the morning and it wouldn’t play while charging.

Travel shampoo bottles that can be put on a ring and attached to a neck lanyard. Just wear it around your neck or hang it around the shower head.

    Cot instead of air mattress
