I wish America appreciates Biffy Clyro as much as Europe (and most everywhere else) does. Though it does make it cool seeing them in front of 200 people and giving the same level of performance

Kidding. However, this group is virtually unknown in America. I’d be surprised if Glasto would bill a group as a headliner that hasn’t reached world-renound status yet. Last group that headlined that could claim the massive-in-UK-but-not-in-America status was probably AM.
Can’t be giving out headline slots just because they’ve been around the block. They’re a solid other stage headliner or sub on the Pyramid. Absurd to give them the headline slot though. Release a seminal album or 2 and you walk into the headline slot, it’s really not a case of earning stripes over time.
Won’t be happening for a few years yet. In 2017 they subbed the pyramid. So they’d need another album before they headlined.
The crowd was pretty thing for their set in 2017. I don’t see it happening.
