oh man seeing those lineups on those cardboard handouts brings me back! I didn’t go to too many massives at the time, but I did hit EDC in 08 and 09. I mostly caught a lot of smaller parties in San Bernadino / LA area. Venues like Chester’s Warehouse, Gotham nightclub, or one of my favorite run down rave joints called pharaoh’s Kingdom. The parties all had funny names like Miles of Smiles or a theme like 420 theme but also in space! Good times! Thanks for unlocking some of those memories!
This is right when I started going to festivals too!
