The festival, which featured Foals and Gorillaz, asked all ticket-holders aged 11 and over to demonstrate their Covid-19 status through the NHS Covid app before entering. Face masks were not compulsory but were encouraged.
People who camped at the festival had to take a second NHS lateral flow test during the event and log their results in the app.
Cornwall council’s public health team is urging all residents and visitors to make testing a priority.
What exactly were the requirements for entering? I’m not familiar with how this app works. Did they require a negative test, proof of vaccine, etc? The article is pretty vague.
We have had several events this size or larger in the US without nearly this level of spread linked to it. I wonder what the difference is here n
This sucks!
Honestly, who cares? People testing so much is driving the numbers up 🤦🏽♂️. At this point most the country has had the virus or a jab, if we can’t get on with it now then we never will
Just home from Greenman…. we’ll see how this all pans out
