Haven’t seen much about this one, but I’m planning on going to ACL for the second weekend (staying in Austin 10/12 – 10/16) I haven’t been to a festival, let alone travelled anywhere as big before, and feel it would be a better experience if I weren’t going alone. If anyone is interested, feel free to message or comment 🙂

Hey whats up! I had a going alone group in 2017 for ACL, and it was fantastic, met over 20 of the people in the group, out of 50. We used a Whatsapp group to chat and get to know each other a little for a weeks prior. I created a Google doc with the schedules, and people would write their name next to the artists they planned to see. It’s a shame I’m going weekend one, if not I’d see you there.
See if ACL has a discord. I’ve chatted and met people from there for some west coast festivals. There’s usually solo meetups and info on pre and after parties
