I didn’t start going to festivals until I was an established professional boring adult basically. I never feel like any of my clothes are very cool at festivals. I’d love to buy some clothes there but they are crazy expensive which seems counter to the whole vibe I love at festivals. My new plan is just shop for weird shit in thrift stores leading up to festivals.
That’s not how this meme works
What I learned through the years, comfortable shoes/inserts are essential. Nothing wrecks the weekend more than wrecked feet. Take extra socks, swapping them after the day feels better than anything else. Finally, buy dedicated rave or festival clothes.

Gym shorts, light t-shirt, comfy shoes, fanny pack. EZ.
I wear my camping/fishing gear. Comfortable, perfect for hot weather, and secure pockets for days. I’ve embraced looking like a summer camp counselor but this nanner will throw down when the music starts.

Gym shorts and tie dye shirts, patterned button ups, and jerseys. Keep it simple.
Have to admit I absolutely love dressing up at festivals… the crazier the better. It’s one of very few places where one can wear whatever they want and receive no judgement. And I love that. I never buy branded items and hugely dislike logos and the promotional like. I’ll source pieces from all over but zero labels in sight. My festival clothes are my best clothes.
