So a bit earlier than planned and further on from our sad Chas & Dave announcement replacing them on the Blues Stage is none other than Ramblin’ favourite Big Boy Bloater
And here are some words from the man…
‘I’m absolutely thrilled and honoured to be invited back to RMF to step in for Chas and Dave on the Blues Stage on Sunday. It’s without doubt one of my favourite festivals on the circuit and last year’s gig there was one of my highlights of 2017. I’m very sorry that Chas and Dave are unable to appear, not just because of the news of illness but because I was personally very excited to watch them and introduce them in my capacity as MC. But the band and I send all best wishes for a speedy recovery. We’ll do our best to entertain the audience in our own way!”
