Kendal Calling is actually in Penrith, and is set in the beautiful grounds of Lowther Deer Park in Cumbria’s Lake District and takes place at the start of August every year.

The 40,000 capacity event is a real mainstay of the UK festival scene, and really should be on every self-respecting festival-goers bucket list.
