We’re looking for three young people within West Yorkshire to join the LD team!
Thanks to support from Youth Music’s Incubator fund, we currently have three job roles open for applications. We’re beyond excited to welcome new people to join our award winning grassroots organisation and help us move forward with our vision for Long Division.
All roles are for young people aged 18-25 and will run for 10 months from September 2021 to June 2022 as a minimum. Applications close on July 18th with interviews taking place w/c July 26th.
Live Events Assistant: Initially shadowing at Long Division Festival 2021, you will develop your live events skills over the ten month placement. You will ultimately book and run Long Division’s monthly live events, co-programme and deliver the 2022 festival and build an industry network.
Creative Community Assistant: Initially shadowing at Long Division Festival 2021, you will develop Long Division’s Community based project work over the ten month placement. This includes supporting our education programme #YoungTeam, booking and delivering live events in the wider district, commissioning new art projects and presenting work at Long Division Festival 2022.
Technical Assistant: Initially shadowing at Long Division Festival 2021, you will become Long Division’s in house technical assistant. You will support the live events of other departments by organising and running the technical aspects of the shows. You will work towards festival wide responsibilities at Long Division 2022 whilst Long Division supports you in finding new opportunities.
