We're delighted to formally announce our success in securing funding from Youth Music for the first time.
Their support, alongside what we had already received from Community Foundation Wakefield District has enabled us to employ an Education Development Manager and fund the delivery of our massively expanded our #YoungTeam project.
This will involve taking gigs into schools + creative sessions with the musicians, the formation of brand new artists supported by mentors and the development of our qualification in DIY promoting.
This is all focused on our home city of Wakefield as we really believe in energising the grassroots right here on our doorstep. We can't wait to meet the next generation of creatives.
