Interesting and sobering article – the fact that music is not represented on the new Cultural Renewal Taskforce is disappointing but not surprising.

"The Taskforce (only one member under 40!) includes the director of a Lincolnshire theme-park Fantasy Island, yet no direct mention of music, even in the sub-committees it will set-up, which will cover “sport, entertainment and events, museums and galleries, heritage, tourism and libraries”.

Venues and events that generate income for artists need your direct help – please give it if you can.
