We've had an idea for a while – a City PA for Wakefield. Paid for by funding, available to artists and promoters at an "at cost" price covering storage and repairs, with any surplus being used to upgrade the system over time. To us it feels like it's something that the city really needs, to develop small 100-150 cap shows, support existing promoters / artists and encourage more of them to start their own events.
But we might be wrong. To see if this is a good idea for us or someone else to take on, we need local promoters and artists to let us know their thoughts, through this quick survey.

This survey relates to the performance of original music "Gigs" relates to any form of live music, from solo artists to artists. It precludes non instrumental performances, such as choirs or spoken word / poetry.
