One part of this year’s Long Division we’re all really excited about – a brand new commissioned show by Jamie from Mi Mye based around a family songbook that’s about 180 years old. It takes place the Wednesday before LD proper on May 30th as part of Wakefield Artwalk
Hi it’s Emily. Me and most of mi mye are having the night off on 30 May to watch Jamie sing beautiful songs about the Highlands and Wakefield. It’s an entirely new show, written especially for Long Division and will feature Jamie on fiddle, and Morgan tickling the ivories. It’s one of the first shows in the new space at Theatre Royal Wakefield, kicks off Long Division and will complement ArtwalkWakefield which is also that night. PHEW!
