Wakefield’s last rehearsal space closed down in October. We now find ourselves in a city where there is nowhere for artists and artists to rehearse. It’s a basic piece of live music and creative infrastructure and not having it will massively, detrimentally effect Wakefield.

We’ve been thinking about it alot. Talking to lots of people and getting some ideas together which have the potential to be exciting. But now the idea needs input from the community.

artists, musicians, artists who would POTENTIALLY use a rehearsal space in Wakefield – even if you haven’t in the past – PLEASE fill in this simple survey. We need to know if it is needed and wanted. We need to know what it should look like. And we need to be able to prove to other people that it is important.
