  7. Fair enough these are difficult times

  8. It’s a sad thing, but it was never going to happen 🙁

  9. Sabine Braines hopefully it will still be on 😳

  10. Andy Beales Emily Brooks 🤞😫

  11. Susie Hall says:

Thank you for the update. A difficult time for you, and all festival organisers, at the moment.

  12. Well if Wimbledon can go ahead, hoping you can too

  13. Penn Festival has just announced they are still on. 10k people on the same weekend.

  14. Hopefully they are pushing for it to run as a test event?

  15. I really hope to be there this year, but if not I will be there next year. Such a terrible time for all those involved in our vital and brilliant music and festival industries.

  16. Jan Strode says:

I wouldn’t feel safe to go this year anyway but very much hope that next year will be completely back to normal. I love this festival!

  17. I hope its cancelled

  18. Anstice Neivens 🤞🏻

  19. Rather disappointing that Bastille are doing a cinematic performance. We pay to see live acts, not this. I’d rather it was cancelled till next year as we won’t be allowed to be carefree, mask wearing will still be in place and there will probably be limitations with numbers in tents etc… and tbh the line up is generally a little disappointing. I understand this is probably due to the uncertainty of the event but it’s not cheap either. I’d rather do it properly next year .

  20. Melvin is on Chris Evans show on virgin this morning talking about festivals this summer

  21. Mick Welch says:

I think it is cancelled 🤔

  22. Hugh Mann says:

Would it be unfair if they limited access to only those double vaccinated?

  23. Don’t think it will go ahead just look at figures and the current rules are….

The cap for most indoor events in England is 1,000 people or 50% of a venue’s capacity, whichever is lower; outdoors it is 4,000 or 50%

So can’t see how they can give you answer because nobody knows what the virus is going to do. Who would have though June date would have been extended. So hard for festivals as I know a friend of mine festival which should have been 15,000 has been reduced to 9,000 and that in September. The council reduced it but they would rather put the event and everybody be safe rather than going for big numbers as who knows what other restrictions could be put on festivals.

  25. Can we have an update please? Is this still going ahead? If not I need to make alternative plans… thanks

  26. Jobs for lattitude cleaners went live on indeed yesterday afternoon!!! A sign it’s all go????

  27. After nearly a year and a half of Covid restrictions, I find it very disappointing that there’s no refund or roll over option for anyone who doesn’t feel comfortable attending a full 20,000-strong festival three days after those restrictions are lifted. We’ve been loyal Latituders (missed one Latitude in 12 years) but feel badly let down on this occasion, to the point we don’t really feel like attending again.
The organisers seem to be hiding behind weasel words to keep hold of people’s money, rather than appreciate these are exceptional times and maybe exceptional measures could be taken to ensure that everyone who wants to go, can go, while those who don’t feel comfortable are reimbursed.
Anyway, two adult tickets and one Under-16 ticket available here if anyone’s still looking.
