  1. Gutted but we will roll over our tickets & see you in 2022 🕺💃

  2. So sorry guys. We will be retaining our tickets and hopefully there next year ❤️

  3. Gutted for the team. Staff. Crew. Artists and fans alike. Inevitable this would happen after the extension last week. On to next year we go!!! Keep the faith 🙏🙏🙏✌️✌️✌️

  4. Feel sorry for people who were still buying and planning for the trip as with it being so last minute they assumed it must be going ahead!

  5. Beth Shutt says:

So gutted for you. We can see how hard you tried, but our inept government strikes again 🙄 We’ll be there in 2022 for the biggest party!! ❤️

  6. Absolutely gutted for you see you in the fields in 2022 💕

  7. See you in 2022! It will be the best year in the fields!

  8. Absolutely gutted.. I still had hope that it would go ahead, roll on next year though!

  9. Can someone give me a bit of guidance; i have been paying monthly for my tickets with ticketmaster, last payment due the 1st of July, how do i go about a refund? Will I still have to make the July payment and be refunded the whole amount?

  10. Gutted to everyone involved in making this festival. But we all will be in those fields next year. Keep the faith and roll over your tickets 🥰

  11. From what was released from other trial events there is no way the government should sit idle on this preventing events like yours, leaving a whole industry to suffer. Did you try a “donation” to the Tory party? I heard that seems to do the trick these days. 😢

  12. So sorry guys! Devastated for you, for us, for everyone. Sending much love to you all. See you in the fields in 2022! 💕

  13. Other event was probably a conservative party donor

  14. Oh absolutely gutted, so sorry for the Kendal calling team. See you next year xx

  15. An impossible situation. Im so sorry for all the staff and wider infrastructure. See you next year.

  16. Ok have Ascot, Euro’s etc but not Kendal joke !!! See you all next year xx

  17. Absolutely gutted but we will be retaining our tickets ready for next year!

  18. If you think Normal life will ever resume an you just need to wait, your wrong, 4 weeks to flaten a curve that was 18 months ago. Still im sure if we do as we are told we can play out next year. Im sad at how pathetic we’ve become hiding from the flu 😔 🤧 😪 RIP Social interaction

  19. Gutted but of course we’ll roll over our tickets again!! See you in the fields next year. 😢

  20. Totally support you. Gutted for you. Gutted for all the artists and people involved. It’s going to be amazing in 2022 💖

  21. Gutted for you all & especially that you’ve tried so hard with 0 support or information. It’s not that it can’t go ahead that’s the issue if it was fairly applied & consistent & transparent. it’s the mixed messages & corruption of what gets to go ahead & who gets support. So sorry guys – you couldn’t have done more. Let’s make 22 the best ever x

  22. So sorry guys that this has happened again. Fingers crossed for 2022. X

  23. Heartbroken for the organisers, artists and us fans who have desperately wanted this to happen all year. Boris and his useless government are hell bent on completely destroying the entertainments industry.
We are keeping our tickets for next year, and will get to this festival to support them come hell or high water 😭🤬😭🤬😭🤬

  24. For anyone looking to get a refund, my email was in the junk folder already and ticketline are only giving you until next Monday to apply for a refund.

  25. Covid was only the 24th leading cause of death in England in May and made up fewer than 1% of all fatalities, official data shows
ONS found coronavirus claimed 355 lives in May, which was down almost 65 per cent on the toll in April
Continued decline deaths means the virus is now 24th ‘leading’ cause of death, down from ninth last month
Overall there were 35,401 deaths in England last month, which is 10 per cent lower than the five-year average

  26. Gutted though very confused that Latitude announced more bands today, are extremely confident it’s going ahead and its a week before Kendal?

  27. Beautifully written statement guys… way more diplomatic and kind than i could have managed. Big up to all of you for keepingt the faith and fighting till the final hour! xxx

  28. Reading this doesn’t give me much hope for Tramlines, which I’m supposed to be going to the weekend before – the tickets were rolled over from last year too as it was for my dad’s 60th.

Completely gutted for you guys. As a live music lover, I hope you guys power through this ❤️

  29. Although we weren’t booked for Kendal Calling, my heart goes out to you guys and every other festival that this so-called government are kicking in the teeth. I guess if it involved whipping horses or kicking a ball it would be perfectly acceptable to allow people to congregate undistanced. Government-backed cancellation insurance is essential for most festivals to proceed. I despair as another summer without work is looming largely today with this sad news.
Sending love and solidarity to all involved on your team from The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican

  30. Devastated but we will be keeping our tickets for next year xx

  31. Shame you weren’t able to offer the same overfilled brown envelopes that Uefa apparently could!! Disgusting the way the events industry has been treated during this pandemic 😡

  32. Abi Emma says:

25,000 not allowed to listen to music in a field but 65,000 allowed to attend semi-finals football inside a stadium…. Absolutely no logic!
