We did it! We reached our ticket goal. In fact – thanks to you – we exceeded it and so we don’t need to change our ticket prices. When we first came up with our pay-what-you-can ticketing model we knew it was a risk. And if it didn’t pay off we might need to change tack. But you have proven that the radical, inclusive, counter-cultural Greenbelt spirit of justice and equality is alive and well. And that despite rising costs – for us as a festival, and for you – when we come together as a community, fairer alternatives can work. We’ve spent nearly 50 years doing everything we could to be a festival that everyone and anyone could afford to come to.
