There’s something almost other-worldly that happens when people of all ages come together at Greenbelt. It’s a rare and precious inter-generational, counter-cultural exchange that only seems possible in our festival fields. From Franciscan nuns partying late into the night at our Hothouse club nights to wide-eyed youngsters watching kick-ass women rock out in the woods. And from adults listening in awe as teenagers share their passion for the environment to grandparents being reminded of their more radical and sprightly selves. Somehow, for a moment, we are reminded how inter-connected we all are and how inspired we can be by those who are almost invisible to us for much of our everyday lives.
