Thank you Greenbelters – as usual – for being the most conscientious and caring festival-goers. This is how you left our campsite field on Tuesday. Not a leftover tent, or bit of rubbish in sight. Every year you do us proud. #LeaveNoTrace #TravelLight

50% isn’t bad.. I think many of us (me included) forgot the “TravelLight” bit this year 🤣😂

  2. Grace Loveday more than happy to #leavenotrace it’s the #travellight bit we struggle with 🤣 who knew miscellar water wasn’t an essential?

  3. Such a contrast to the mess left at the end of the Notting Hill Carnival.

  4. The BBC need to report on this after all the negativity from Reading !

  5. We must have all paid attention to Beans on Toast’s song in his Canopy set:. https://youtu.be/gzZaOE1zVKw

  6. Well done Greenbelters.

  7. Is there a way to donate to Camplight if there’s camping stuff we don’t want? (A bit late for this year, I know!)

  8. I thought I spotted some rubbish on my way out, but turned out to be sheep wool.🐏🐑

  9. I’ve never seen a field so clean after a festival!

  10. That’s what happens when you have people who love the earth ❤

  11. No, it’s an awareness thing. 💕

  12. Fantastic! well done to all involved. X

  13. Feeling very muchly pleased to hear that nothing was left behind that should not have been left 🙂 😊 thank you very muchly to everyone 😀 😊

  14. There is probably a critical mass thing involved. The ethos of care means that most people tidy and so the waverers follow. Whereas once a few people leave stuff more people copy

  15. Grand.
There are other equally clean festivals, Shambala and green gathering.
Unfortunately there is almost an expectation at some festivals that you buy a cheap tent and leave it behind.

  16. compare with Reading festival pics!!!

Contentious thought. Leeds festival was on at the same time and Hull Help For Refugees – charity 1176555 has collected many sleeping bags and tents for use…perhaps next year there should be a collection point at GB for anyone thinking of upgrading their kit?
