“Life always provides reasons to not die if we listen hard enough.” Matt Haig
Back in 2015 author Matt Haig introduced us to his book ‘Reasons to Stay Alive’. In the book, and his Greenbelt talk from that year, Matt speaks honestly about a breakdown that he suffered in his early 20s and his learning to live with, through and beyond depression and thoughts of suicide.
Today, on #WorldSuicidePreventionDay, we wanted to share his moving, funny and difficult talk again as it continues to be so relevant to the lives of so many living with depression.
