[ad_1]
It's #InternationalWomansDay. Over on our Instagram stories we'll celebrate women who've appeared at the festival. We trawled through the archive and what we discovered gave us pause for thought, so here's a reflection on what #IWD means to Greenbelt Festival Why not tell us the women who changed the way you see the world after you encountered them at the festival? http://bit.ly/gb19IWD
IWD: reflection and celebration – Greenbelt
Today is a day that we join with all those standing with women all over the world to celebrate their lives, loves, their change-making, creativity, generosity and their myriad achievements, from the local to the global. It’s a day of joy and celebration.

Couldn’t put it any better Christie. And all the mums who pre organise packing and catering for their family’s to have a great fun time at gb.
Maria Alyokhina was definitely a top woman in last year’s Greenbelt lineup, along with Vicky Beeching, Sue Turton and others, but I met so many women during that weekend who weren’t famous for anything yet were still fabulous – too many to count!
