In the first season of our new podcast we spoke with Ruth Hunt, the former CEO of Stonewall, lifelong campaigner for LGBTQI+ rights and a committed Catholic. Ruth talked clearly and passionately about the obsession of the institutional church and its leadership with human sexuality, when there is so much need and injustice in our communities for us to be working to change.
We've been proud and privileged to be a safe space for LGBTQI+ people for as long as we can remember, and we're grateful for the work of wonderful volunteers over the years in helping us make this so – including our current Out at Greenbelt team. There are 50 or so recorded talks in our archive you can listen back to discussing LGBTQI+ issues, including the podcast episode with Ruth.
