Seen the Greenbelt Festival website?
Looks a bit odd today.
But then so does the sea.
Check out our #DrasticOnPlastic plan this #EarthDay and pre-order your Greenbelt Water Bottle. They are things of beauty https://www.greenbelt.org.uk/earth-day-the-future-is-sparkly/
Earth Day – The Future is Sparkly – Greenbelt
This Earth Day Greenbelt Festival looks to a time where we have no single use plastic on site and all the glitter is biodegradable.

i have had a look at the article on the website. very interesting. For the cable ties there is not really any easy alternative, but have you looked at reusable ones (i use them all the time) – it would also save money in the long term as you would only have to buy them once
I’ve got 2 questions
1. Plastic straws – what is going to be on offer for those with disabilities who need straws to be able to drink ? Most of the current alternatives to plastic just aren’t suitable for those with disabilities (https://bigissue.com/opinion/need-press-pause-plastic-straw-ban/ as an example of an article explaining why – there are plenty more out there)
2. A more selfish question – is there going to be anywhere selling cheaper drinks bottles – or am I just going to have to bring more with me on site? I’ve got a child that WILL lose a resuable bottle, and I simply can’t afford to replace constantly especially not at £10 a pop! and if we have another scorcher like last year (of course we will!!!!………..) he’s going to need a bottle…
It doesn’t seem to say anywhere what volume the Greenbelt bottles hold, anyone know??
