A desire to fight for environmental and social justice is an important part of what Greenbelt hopes to inspire. We believe that by coming together, at Greenbelt and elsewhere, we can make a difference. We think that one of the most powerful questions in the world is: ‘Now, what are you going to do about it?’ And it’s a question we ask ourselves each year.
It’s why we build a programme full to the brim with writers, speakers, activists, scientists, religious leaders, artists, musicians and big thinkers who challenge and change us. Our hope is you’ll leave our time in the fields together with renewed energy to continue to fight the good fight.
