The fields of dreams
As the night gave birth to the morning, from up upon the hill,
The sun began to caress my body
And I took my fill
In the daybreak emerged the tent tops, peeking from over the fence,
as my soul felt it was finally home, it was spiritual and Immense
I’d been walking the fields in my dreams, I’d been yearning my return for years,
It was time, sublime, a house on my back,
A smile and Joyous tears
I followed a path Druids once walked,
I was welcomed like I’d been missed,
I was satisfied beyond my wildest expectations,
Like sharing the bliss of a lovers first kiss,
As I heard the hum of the amplifiers,
And the guests shouted aloud
The host introduced the first act,
Then I was assimilated into the crowd
Now I truly felt I was at Glastonbury,
The flow of energy showed no sign it would stop,
I’d made it, I had found the fountain of happiness,
And I drank up every drop
Wish I was going. I will one day. 🤞
