  1. Glastonbury has always been way way more than just the bands that are playing and I know there will be countless more bands and DJ’s announced for the smaller stages BUT that has to be one of the weakest Glastonbury line ups ever. In many ways I’m glad as it lessens the blow of not having a ticket

  2. Rachel Coe says:

Billy Eilish is only headliner I’m considering. Years and Years, Pet shop boys (they will do something together), Lorde, Glass animals, Primal Scream, TLC, skunk anasie, robert plant & alison kraus, the waterboys. My initial feeling is many are acts I’ve seen before with a few new (skunk anasie).

  3. Any chance I can become part the working team ,doesn’t matter what the job be I will say I’m a great litter picker x

  4. Mike Neil says:

If you donโ€™t appreciate being able to see Paul McCartney (and for those of you that donโ€™t understand he co wrote with John Lennon in The Beatles and is responsible for influencing pretty much every other artist on the bill) then donโ€™t buy a ticket. After not buying a ticket you should then lock yourself in a room and listen to Helter Skelter for 6 hrs on repeat. Just my thoughts anyway โœŒ๐Ÿป

  5. Itโ€™s not my dream line-up but on a quick scan Iโ€™ve already got over 20 bands Iโ€™d like to see, clashes permitting. As always itโ€™s an eclectic mix.

Those with a ticket deposit paid that donโ€™t like it can always get a (partial) refund and let someone else benefit in the resale, plenty people will snap it up. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  6. Ash Hill says:

Thought you said it was going to be a big one?!

    Very underwhelming.

Then again, at least itโ€™s not another Coldplay year.

  7. This is incredible

So much good stuff! I’m overwhelmed.

From legendary names, to current stars, and all the cool mind-blowing live performers in-between, there is truly something for everyone here.

If you’re not sure on first glance, look again from top to bottom, remembering it’s in alphabetical order rather than ‘size’, and new things seem to pop up every time you read through.

If you really think it’s no good, I’m sorry for you!

    What’s everyone’s top 3? ๐Ÿ˜

  8. So wish I was going ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. Those of you lucky to have tickets youโ€™re going to have an amazing time ๐Ÿ™Œ

  9. Also baggy mondays normally do Thursday dj set all indie sounds love them

  10. My late teens kids are so excited. Already offered to take mama dancing all night in Arcadia. And asked when the app is out so they can start planning. G&T cans in a field with my now grown up kids. Can’t wait to be back!

  11. Lisa Wilks says:

I am so so happy, what an incredible and varied line-up. Get me in them fields ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿฅณ

  12. Obviously McCartney will be great, and Diana Ross is a legend, couple other good acts, would of been great to get Rolling Stones or some other big bands for this one.

  13. Shame that the Manics and Happy Mondays aren’t on the bill anymore. Was hoping they still would be. And is Fatboy Slim playing? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
But at the end of the day it’s the best festival in the world, so there is so much to do. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  14. Lisha Bird says:

Not the best lineup I’ve seen. Much better festival line ups out there. Good job the rest of the amazing festival makes up for it I spose

  15. Wish I was going as it is the most amazing experience regardless of bands. none of the headliners do it for me. Lots of other acts Iโ€™d like to see but the good thing is I can catch them at other festivals/ gigs.

  16. Phil Jones says:

Keep your eye on Caberet Tent announcements usually some cracking comedy! Hope John Cooper Clarke is on the list!

  17. Actually, quite a lot of that appeals to me. More than usual. Also worth remembering that this is a tiny fraction of whatโ€™s going to be on offer over the 4 or 5 days.
Quite jealous of everyone who bagged a ticket.

  18. That’s not the full line up so why people going on and it’s never about the headliners so much going on there’s something for everyone best festival ever

  19. Amazing! Iโ€™ve seen Imagined Village are playing again elsewhere this summer so hopefully theyโ€™ll be added to the line up too!

  20. Foals, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Supergrass. Thatโ€™s it for me. Poor line up but Iโ€™ll still have a good time ๐Ÿฅณ

  21. Brilliant line up as always fingers crossed resale day is kind to me and that I am on the farm come June.

  22. SO EXCITED. although glasto isnโ€™t about the line up there are some amazing acts there Iโ€™ve been so keen to see. Canโ€™t wait. Thanks Glastonbury xx

  23. Paul McCartney I would go out off my way to watch, Elbow, Jesus & Mary Chain, Noel Gallagherโ€™s High Flying Birds,Crowded House,Supergrass, Skunk Anansie & Primal Scream are worth a watch but Iโ€™ve already seen those bands some of them on many occasions. Iโ€™ve also seen Plant & Page so him and Alison Krauss is a step down plus Iโ€™m not a fan of Alison Krauss.
So this lineup is meh nothing Iโ€™m really interested in.

  24. Pretty poor for me personally with the exception of about 10 acts, seems a lot from.the original 50th line up are no longer on but you never know they may throw us a few more surprises yet!

  25. OMG so much to get excited about but most thrilled by Herbie Hancock, what an absolute privilege to see such a legend. And Iโ€™m also very happy that the โ€˜Glasto shaped gapโ€™ I saw in Skunk Anansieโ€™s tour dates turned out to be true ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿคฉ

  26. Amfy Villa says:

Of course there will be some younger people who are disappointed but I am seeing a lot of โ€˜worst in the 30 years Iโ€™ve been goingโ€™ & โ€˜not what Iโ€™ve come to expect since I started going in the 90sโ€™. Many of those moaning need to accept that they are just getting older. Glastonbury isnโ€™t curated for any particular demographic but it will lean towards whatโ€™s current. I am 57 & my first Glastonbury was in 86 – of course the line up doesnโ€™t suit me so well any more, but I not only know Iโ€™ll have a great time at the festival in general, but I am also going to get to hear current music in its context, of a crowd loving it, & find I get to love it too!

  27. The line up reads like a story…I shall try to tell the tale… “A Big Thief stole me a much needed Koffee, a honked a load of ‘Amyl’ (& the sniffers) to get me some Self Esteem, some Confidence Man! My brain goes ‘Lorde’ my Easy Life’s become a mess! I need a First Aid Kit for my Elbow, some Squid ink colour for my (Courtney) Barnett, and a repair for my snapped Jesus & Mary Chain. I found some Supergrass, you know, some Skunk (anansie), I Wet (my) Legs for Years & Years and became a High Flying Bird doing a Primal Scream at 6am in the stone circle. Only at Glastonbury. Bring it on.

  28. Foals?!?! Wolf Alice?!?! Glass Animals?!?!?!!? and mother-effin PAUL MCCARTNEY?!?!?!! Oh MAN! I wish i didn’t live overseas <3

  29. โ€œCanโ€™t believe this lineup wasnโ€™t exclusively tailored to my musical preferences of bland white boy indie rock itโ€™s gone down hill so much SMDH ๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜คโ€

    – Someone without a ticket probably

  30. I made my list:
    Paul McCartney
    Kendrick Lamar
    Diana Ross
    Crowded House
    FOALS!!!!!!!!!
    Leon Bridges
Doja Cat & Megan Thee Stallion (I guess)
Olivia Rodrigo (cuz my girls love her)
Pet Shop Boys (circa 1987 please)
    PRIMAL SCREAM
    Robert Plant & Alison Krauss
    SNARKY PUPPY!

AND raising my hand with a ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ TLC?????? As in the infamous TLC????

  31. Sometimes the people who create concert posters just aren’t music people. In no real music world should anyone have their names listed before Paul McCartney and Diana Ross at this show. Respect the innovators who inspired with real talent!

  32. Ian Sheen says:

Peggy Winford Thereโ€™s a challenge! Apart from the obvious ones like Foals, IDLES, Bonobo, Caribou and Wolf Alice etc, Iโ€™d recommend Big Thief, Dry Cleaning, Khruangbin, Phoebe Bridgers, Roisin Murphy, Self Esteem, Squid, Wet Leg offhand. Plenty of guilty pleasures there too whoโ€™ll be great in that atmosphere – First Aid Kit, Elbow (!) and Supergrass for example. Iโ€™ve not been for years now, itโ€™s just got too crowded for me, but itโ€™ll be a gas.

  33. Love the variety of genres at Glasto! So excited to see two of my absolute faves, Kacey Musgraves and The Pet Shop Boys at the same fest! Now if only Harriet Rose Grant would be add to the mix in “acts to be announced” … that would be the cherry on top! ๐Ÿคฉ ๐Ÿคž

  34. Looking for โ€œcontemporaryโ€โ€ฆnope. Not this festival. My Granny will love it though.

  35. FONTAINES, IDLES, MACCA (I’VE FORGIVEN HIM), DIANA ROSS, AVALANCHES, BONOBO, CATE LE BON, FIRST AID KIT, HERBIE HANCOCK, SIMZ, NIGHTMARES ON WAX, RUFUS!!!!, SAM FENDER!!!!, SUPERGRASS, ST VINCENT, WET LEG!!! BRING IT ON. I will see three of all theseโ€ฆ plus a load of stuff I have never heard before!!!

  36. That’s really disappointing considering the delay etc , thought we’d have something special, Billie Eilish has 2 !! TWO !! Good songs the rest are terrible especially in a festival environment, really bad choice. ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ

  37. Nahhh. I’ll pass. I’ve seen Diana Ross, let’s hope she doesn’t have one of her now legendary meltdowns if she considers the music not up to her standards. Believe me the same four bars stopped and repeated five times on two songs detracts from the performance. Yes. Di is a mahoosive Diva and I was extremely disappointed both times I saw her with her weird tantrums as I was a massive Diana Ross fan. She’s number one on my list of worst concerts ever. And I’ve seen a few bands in my fifty seven years! Top three best ever would be 3, Kasabian, 2, Madness and 1,Richard Ashcroft.
Have fun all those that are going, I’m sure you’ll have a fabulous time, let’s hope the weather is wonderfully sunny but not too hot!

  38. Great line up wow! So many of my favorite artists. I hope to be here someday soon ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ

  39. Fran Bower says:

Oh, no, not P McC again… I drifted away from his last Pyramid set and found something far better by serendipity! At least Glasto is never short of a wild variety of wonderful acts; just don’t expect it to be the ones you’ve heard of (except the Who. They did blow me away).

  40. Billie in front of Paulโ€ฆ wow! So unbelievably proud of her. That is impressive.

  41. It gets more like the Royal Albert Hall every year… you need a new area ‘the Caribbean quarter’ full of soul food Reggae, Dancehall and Jungle Love ! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿฆโค๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š

  42. Would love to play and live loop here.. as would every other artist in the world. Iโ€™ll get to the back of the queue then. ๐Ÿ˜‚

  43. I just spent a few days listening to music by all of these artists on Spotify, so I know who to stream on BBC. And I must say this is the first year I’m glad I do *NOT* have a ticket. Nearly all of this music is crap. The only one I’m really excited to see is MITSKI.

  44. Dreaming of getting tickets on the resale hope so much it will be 6 so want to get one for 5 special people + me ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™‚especially my beautiful brother Ian Sinkins in Melbourne dreaming of seeing him post covid. Also dreaming Barry Gibb might be on with Diana. Magic always happens at Glastonbury ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŽผ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒžxxx
