Leaving Glastonbury 2022 was hard to do…
Leaving the Glastonbury 2022 site is quite literally a challenge if you have to cart everything back to your car up the infamous ‘hill of death’. So hat’s off to those who made this final push to get back to normality even though the pull of the festival site behind them was still strong.
Was Glastonbury 2022 the ‘best Glastonbury Festival ever’?
Well, given the forced absence it certainly felt that way – and the weather was certainly the best we can remember since we started going back in 1993.
We did our best to bring you photos from across the site every day – so here are links to each day’s action…see if we caught you up at the stone circle, out in the fields, or down the front at the main stages…

Our favourite bands at Glastonbury Festival 2022
We missed a lot of the acts we had really hoped to see – simply because the festival is so vast and we can only be in one place at once!
But here for the record are the bands we would have got around to seeing if we could:
3 Daft Monkeys – Andy Twyman – Bob Vylan – Chris Tofu, NY Brass Band – Crowded House – Dry Cleaning – Duncan Disorderly and the Scallywags – Elvana – English Teacher – Fatboy Slim – Foals – Fontaines DC – Gong – Greentea Peng – Herbie Hancock – Hobo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs – Hothouse Flowers – Lazy Habits – Lewis McLauglin – McFly – Mik Artistik’s Ego Trip – She Drew The Gun – Sister Suzie – Skunk Anansie – Sports Team – Squid – Suzanne Vega – Tankus the Henge – The Avalanches – The Enjoyable Listens – The Undercover Hippy – Walt Disco -Warmduscher – Warmduscher – Wet Leg -Will Varley – Yard Act
Now – doesn’t THAT read like an excellent festival line-up in its own right!
This Jack White moment probably sums up the spirit of Glastonbury 2022
