Movie run of the mill when compared to other events witnessed around the world. Everyone trying to keep up with Tomorrowland is challenging. VELD itself is shell of its former self. Was best when it stuck to EDM participants. The mixing of other genres and their followers make it less appealing. Guess you have to supplement it now as a lot acts have more lucrative shows to attend. Toronto is unfortunately not at the forefront at the moment.

A mid after movie for a mid festival. The venue is a joke. Stages are too close together. It’s so bad you get sound bleed from other stages that makes every drop sound like an autistic kid eating glue. The solution of turning them down to compensate is akin to punching someone in the ass to stop them from shitting. Honourable mention goes to the terrible light shows from wish at 2/3 stages. Even my epileptic friend said they gave him the most boring seizures of his life.
Word to the wise: save your money and take a road trip to a real festival in North America.
