i said this on todd and adoseofburkley's last years worst list, i hope she becomes the big textbook definition of a one hit wonder (like toni basil, bobby mcferrin, lou bega, daniel powter, kiesza and silentó), let's please not do the same mistake we did back in 2009 when we tried to replace chris brown (in his rihanna assault era) with a bottom of the barrel wannabe jason derulo. even bieber and one direction weren't this unlikable back in the early 2010s (when they were the big punchline). all her songs are total shit; that one, u love u, 90s kids and her godawful follow up cinderella snapped.

The part of the boobs is so funny cause the models didn’t have big boobs at all, they were skinny! 2023 is lame for pop music! I don’t know what happened this is year but it’s a year to be forgotten sonically!

After going about a decade without hearing more than 1-2 Nickelback songs in any given calendar year, I’ve been taken aback nowadays at how Country the band Nickelback already sounds. Especially on songs like “Rockstar”. I feel like the foundation for the bro-country revolution of the 2010’s was laid out by 2000’s bands like Nickelback, Hinder, Saving Abel, etc. I think that’s the specific reason I don’t like them that I struggled to put a finger on before.
